NEWS 2022
Our Briards continue to lead the way both in the show ring and in the performance arena.
Cacharel owned or bred dogs won Best of Breed at Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide Royal and we continue to lead the way with our superstar ' Ch Cacharel Ready To Rumble' who has the most amazing record in the show ring with 4 Best in Shows and 5 Best in Show 2's to his credit. He has been shown in 3 states and has amassed 3 x CACIB's and is unbeaten by another male this year.
News 2019 - 2020
2019 was a really big year, lots of Show & Performance successes including the first Briards to qualify for Lure Coursing Title. Miss Reeba had some great runs and is now Champion Cacharel Now See This HIT JC. This was followed by her half brother Digger gaining his JC late in 2020.
The highlight of 2019 was a trip to the Dutch Nationals and the French Nationale.
It is always exciting to see large numbers of your breed and these 2 events did not disappoint.
One of the objectives was to look at future stud dogs and assess temperament. We will never import without checking temperament first hand. The stud dogs have been selected and the future looks really bright. Frozen semen will be once more utilized in our breeding program in 2021.
In 2020 , I was lucky enough not only to travel to CRUFTS, but I had the honour of handling two beautiful Briards bred by Beaugency Briards (Jenny Snellin). One was very special to me as she is the grandmother of our Czech boy Bowie. To my delight, Lana and I won a very competitive Veteran bitch class. I also handled the lovely Eng Ch Beaugency Blackberry and placed a creditable 3rd in a strong Open Bitch class.
Another big result from Crufts was the daughter of our very own Australian Champion Cacharel Homme de mes Reves (Franky) winning the Bitch CC at CRUFTS. This followed on from her winning Best of Breed at the 2018 World Dog Show
News 2017
2017 was a very big year for us, some of the highlights were;

Our newest import, Bowie - A Kiss Please Moravia Campanella, arrives in Australia from the Czech Republic. Bowie's pedigree is a beautiful blend of exceptional English & Czech bloodlines.

Bowie's first litter born October 2017, so far they are exceeding all our expectations

In December 2017 Anne was awarded LIFE MEMBERSHIP of Dogs Queensland for 'Outstanding and Special Service'

2018 has started with a bang with 'CACHAREL BRIARDS' once more being named Australia's Number 1 Briard Breeder
